This body of semi-abstract work explores identity and self-discovery – inviting viewers to reflect on the complexities of personal growth, self-acceptance and the ever-evolving nature of who we are.  These works represent vulnerability, contemplation and reinvention.

 The multiple materials and frayed layers highlight my complex, multi-faceted sense of identity, history and memories.  As I get older, I often feel I am becoming invisible.  My evolving art practice enables me to stop and contemplate ways to reinvent myself and find new purpose.

 The ambiguity of the figurative suggestions and layered textures allows viewers to interpret the works in ways that relate to their own experiences of identity and evolution.
