These works highlight my fascination with the beauty of the form of the simple pear.   

Pears 1 – 4:  The pear stencils I created from mono print collage papers using acrylics on Japanese Rice Paper on my gel plate.  These works include sections of an old topographical map, pages from an old coffee table book on Irish History and an old ticket from a visit to Mont-Sant-Michel in Northern France in 2014. 

These works are all framed in either light wood or black frames.

The large abstract “Four Pears” is primarily acrylic with ink pen on gallery wrapped canvas.  I used a paint conditioner to create those wonderful cells.
